Welcome to Scriptura AI Assistant. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing our app, you agree to be bound by these terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the service.
To access premium features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information. You are solely responsible for all activity on your account. To prevent abuse and protect our community, we do not permit account sharing. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show suspicious login activity across multiple devices or IP addresses.
Scriptura AI Assistant is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform providing theological and philosophical insights. We do not provide financial, investment, legal, or medical advice. Any AI-generated insights regarding "wealth," "resources," "abundance," or "prosperity" refer strictly to spiritual stewardship and personal character development as discussed within Scripture-based content, and do not constitute financial products, investment returns, or financial advice of any kind.
This disclaimer applies to AI-generated theological content only and does not apply to the Kingdom Partner referral commission program described in Section 11, which involves real monetary payments governed separately by these Terms.
All content, including but not limited to AI models, software code, generated text, branding, and logos, is the exclusive property of Scriptura AI Assistant (Pty) Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Scriptura AI Assistant shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service or reliance on any information provided by the AI. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
You agree to use the service for lawful purposes only. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the company.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Scriptura AI Assistant (Pty) Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, advisors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees on an attorney-and-own-client scale) arising out of or related to your use of the service, any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions, or any violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
Scriptura AI Assistant (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by events outside our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event"). This includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather conditions, catastrophic power failures, telecommunication connectivity failures, network or system outages, severe cyberattacks, strikes, lock-outs, civil commotion, riots, war, or governmental regulations/mandates.
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions—including their existence, validity, interpretation, performance, or termination—the parties shall first make a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter through informal mediation or negotiation within fourteen (14) days of notice of the dispute.
If the dispute cannot be settled informally, the parties agree to submit the dispute to confidential mediation under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA). If mediation fails to resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days from its commencement, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration in Johannesburg, South Africa, in accordance with the AFSA Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator appointed by agreement or by AFSA. Litigation may only be commenced if both negotiation and AFSA-administered mediation/arbitration fail to resolve the controversy.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
11.1 Scriptura AI Assistant offers an optional referral program ("Kingdom Partner Program"), available at no cost to any registered user.
11.2 Participants may share a unique referral link. If a person who registers using that link subscribes to the paid Steward tier, the referring participant earns a commission equal to 50% of that subscription payment (currently R50.00 per successful monthly payment), for as long as the referred user maintains an active, paying subscription.
11.3 Commission is not earned on free registrations, and is not guaranteed, fixed in duration, or owed independently of the referred user's continued, successful payment. Commission ceases immediately and without separate notice if the referred user cancels their subscription or a payment fails to process.
11.4 The Kingdom Partner Program is a referral affiliate arrangement only. It is not an investment scheme, a security, a financial product, or an offer of employment. Scriptura AI Assistant (Pty) Ltd is not a registered financial services provider and does not provide financial or investment advice in connection with this program.
11.5 Self-referral, fraudulent referral activity, or any attempt to manipulate the referral system is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of accrued commission and/or account termination.
11.6 Accrued commission balances may be withdrawn to a valid bank account in accordance with the withdrawal process described in the Scriptura platform. Scriptura AI Assistant reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Kingdom Partner Program at any time, with reasonable notice to active participants regarding any material changes affecting accrued balances.
12.1 The Steward tier is offered at R100.00 (ZAR) per 30-day billing cycle, processed via Stitch, and renews automatically unless cancelled.
12.2 Free-tier users may submit up to 3 questions per day at no cost. Steward-tier subscribers may submit up to 50 questions per day for the duration of their active subscription.
12.3 You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation stops future recurring billing; you will retain Steward access until the end of your current 30-day billing cycle, after which your account will revert to the free tier.
12.4 No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a current billing cycle unless required by applicable South African consumer protection law.
